September 2007, we saw our son's face for the first time, we submitted our letter of intent to adopt him, we received pre-approval and we decided that his room would have a train theme. We knew it was an important month for our family but until this week we didn't know just how important it was. That same month that we first saw our son's face, our daughter was born and taken to the orphanage, where she still resides today. She was being born as I prepared our LOI to adopt our son. Hmmm. That's a lot to think about.
