Still waiting - day 25 of the wait for LOA

We've found out a lot since our last post. She is located at the a different Social Welfare Institute. This SWI has a great chat group. They've been adopting out children internationally for years so there have been a lot of families to talk to. One was there last month and happened to take pictures of our KAILEY (in the yellow). Another family was there several years ago and sent an entire file of pictures of the orphanage.

A third family adopted an older child from there and they've been giving me all the details of life there. Such as: They sleep in total darkness to save electricity (I love a dark room) and the kids often play hide and seek after lights out, the beds are as hard as they look, they don't use much bedding, they eat alot of veggies and rice, meat daily, hard boiled eggs and water AFTER thier meals. The kids there work. The older kids often care for the babies. They are taken out for various festivals and do get McDonalds, although seldom, and they've never had ice cubes or ice cream.

Mostly we've been told that the children are well cared for and felt safe there but still it's an orphange and it's time for our girl to come home.
